ARK News… The Jordanian Customs Directorate announced that it foiled an attempt to smuggle about 800,000 Captagon pills coming from Syria through the Jabir border customs centre.

The media spokesman of the Jordanian Customs Department said in a statement that the customs personnel working at the Jabir border customs centre were able to thwart the smuggling of “800,000 Captagon pills” coming from Syria.

According to the Jordanian Customs Department, the Captagon pills were hidden among goods coming from Syria, with the aim of smuggling. They were carefully searched and the aforementioned quantity was found inside them.

Jordan has confirmed more than once the continuation and recurrence of attempts to smuggle drugs manufactured by the Syrian regime and its allies, the Iranian militias and the Lebanese Hezbollah, from Syria towards its territory.
