Medicines in the regime areas lose their effectiveness and therapeutic effect
ARK News… Most of the medicines in areas under the control of the Syrian regime lost their quality and appropriate therapeutic effect despite the high prices, which negatively affected the treatment time and contributed to cases that prevent response to treatment.
Pharmacists in the Syrian capital, Damascus, revealed that they are suffering from interruptions in some types of specific medications, such as heart, cancer, blood pressure, and diabetes medications, in addition to the poor effectiveness of the medications, which poses a threat to the lives of many patients.
The number of people seeking medical assistance has increased in areas controlled by the Syrian regime due to the high prices of medicines and surgeries.
Private hospitals in Damascus recorded a sharp increase in the fees for all medical services, especially intensive care fees, with the cost per night exceeding five million Syrian pounds, excluding tests and medications.
