ARK News… The hours of rationing of electrical power increased in the Syrian capital, Damascus, as the hours of power cuts during the holy month of Ramadan exceeded 7 hours per day, compared to their connection for less than an hour, and varied from one region to another.

Syrian media sources said that the reality of electricity rationing did not change during the holy month of Ramadan, and it took a turn for the worse as the date of Eid al-Fitr approached due to the increase in electrical loads during this period.

According to al-Watan newspaper, which is close to the Syrian regime, the electrical rationing currently applied in Damascus is 6 hours of disconnection versus 1 hour of connection, due to the lack of quantities coming to the directorate (about 320 megabytes per day).
