Human Rights Watch: Jordan must compensate the families of the victims of its air strikes in Syria
ARK News… Human Rights Watch confirmed that Jordan must compensate the families of the victims of the Jordanian air strikes in Suwayda, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens.
Human Rights Watch, today, Sunday, 17 /3/2024, said that Jordan must ensure accountability for the air strikes in Suwayda, southern Syria, which resulted in the deaths of 10 civilians, including two girls, and 6 women, including 3 elderly women, in addition to the destruction of Less than 10 houses.
The human rights organization added in its report that the raids resulted in the deaths of women and children, describing them as amounting to “extrajudicial execution.”
Human Rights Watch called on Jordan to ensure comprehensive and impartial investigations into the January 18 airstrike and previous strikes, including determining how to establish any policy and with whom, and ensuring that those responsible for violations are held accountable.
