Israeli raids target sites of the regime and Iranian militias in the Damascus countryside

ARK News… Israel launched a series of air strikes at dawn on Sunday, targeting positions of the Syrian regime and Iranian militias in the Damascus countryside.

The Syrian regime news agency, SANA, quoted a military source as saying, “At approximately 42:00 after midnight, the Israeli enemy launched an air attack from the direction of the Golan, targeting a number of points in the southern region.”

Pointing out that the attack resulted in one soldier being injured and some material losses occurring. The source did not specify the sites hit by the raids or the areas covered by the bombing.

For its part, local sources confirmed that explosions were heard in the vicinity of the towns of Yabroud and Nasiriyah in Western Qalamoun in the Damascus countryside.

According to the sources, the Israeli raids targeted Nasiriyah Military Airport near the city of Jayroud, and weapons depots in Danha Farms near the city of Yabroud.

For its part, the Hebrew “Intel Times” website said that Israel launched a major attack on Damascus, targeting weapons and missile stores, and a route for smuggling arms shipments from Syria to Lebanon, adding that the explosions indicate the destruction of the targeted facilities.
