Germany condemns the killing of a Syrian activist and stresses the need to hold the perpetrators accountable
ARK News… The German envoy to Syria condemned the killing of Syrian activist Heba Haj Arif, in the city of Biz’a in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
Stevan Schneck, the German envoy to Syria, said in a tweet on the “X” platform: We are closely following the events, and full transparency and full accountability must be ensured by the responsible authorities.
Schneck added: “We must ensure that such heinous acts will not be repeated again, and we are committed to Heba’s legacy and the struggle for women’s rights.”
The body of Syrian feminist activist Hiba Haj Arif was found on the morning of Tuesday, February 27, 2024, murdered inside her home in the town of Biza’a in the northern countryside of Aleppo, in a shocking incident that occupied social media sites and sparked widespread controversy among residents.
