Barzani Charity meets with university students in Afrin
ARK News… The Barzani Charity Foundation organized a meeting with a number of university students in Afrin, Syrian Kurdistan, to learn closely about their conditions and suffering.
The Foundation said on its official Facebook page today, January 30, 2024, that it “organized a meeting with a number of university students in Afrin for the purpose of closely examining their conditions and suffering.”
It added, the activities of the Barzani Charity Foundation were presented by Mr. Rawaj Haji, member of the Foundation’s administrative body and responsible for the Afrin file, to those present after serving lunch, and gifts were also distributed to the students.
The Barzani Charity Foundation was the first humanitarian organization that helped the cities of Afrin and Jenderes and their countryside, by arriving in the region after the earthquake in February 2023.
On February 19, 2023, it officially opened an office in the city center of Afrin, to continue providing humanitarian aid to those affected by the earthquake.
On June 4, 2023, the “Barzani Center for Culture and Development” was opened in Afrin.
