Latakia... A lawyer was arrested because of his criticism of the wife of the head of the Syrian regime
ARK News… The security services of the Syrian regime arrested a lawyer in the city of Latakia, due to his criticism of the wife of the head of the regime on social networking sites.
Local media outlets from the city of Latakia said that the regime's security services raided a house in the old Corniche neighborhood in the city of Latakia, amid a heavy deployment of military security personnel, blocking roads, and subsequently arrested a lawyer, because of his criticism of the wife of the head of the regime on social media sites.
According to local media, a post by the lawyer on the social networking site Facebook said, “They are servants of Asmaa and work under her command,” in reference to the heads of the regime’s security services. The lawyer was taken to a security center affiliated with the regime without his fate being known.
It is noteworthy that these arrests of those critical of the regime are not the first of their kind within areas of influence of Syrian regime militants.
