ARK News… Due to the increasing frequency of provocations in the demilitarized zone, Russia established two new military observation points in Qenitra.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the establishment of two new military observation points in Qenitra, along the border with the Golan, and channels close to the Russian army published on the Telegram application pictures showing for the first-time new observation and inspection points in southern Syria near the Golan Heights.

The Russian "TASS" agency published a statement by Vadim Collet, deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation at the Himeimim base, in which he said: "The establishment of the two points was due to what he described as "the increasing pace of provocations in the demilitarized zone."

Collette added that the two additional points where Russian military police are stationed along the Golan Heights are to monitor the ceasefire.

According to Syria TV, the first Russian military observation point was located south of the town of Al-Mu'allaqa in the Qenitra countryside, while the second point was located south of the town of Nasiriyah, halfway between the city of Nawa, northwest of Daraa, and the town of Al-Rafid overlooking the Golan.
