ARK News… The American Kharab al-Jir base in the Rmelan countryside in Syrian Kurdistan was subjected to a new attack by pro-Iranian militias.

On Friday, local sources reported that strong explosions were heard in the Rmelan area, resulting from a new targeting of the American Kharab al-Jir base.

Adding that the coalition forces responded to the attack, but no information was received about losses.

For its part, the "Islamic Resistance in Iraq" militia claimed responsibility for the attack, and said in a statement that it targeted the American base with missile attacks.

Hours after the bombing, private sources confirmed, "An American cargo plane coming from Iraq landed at the Kharab al-Jir base, carrying weapons, military and logistical equipment, and other materials on board."

In this context, American drones launched strikes at dawn today, Saturday, on Iranian militia positions in the city of Al Bukamal, targeting a convoy of 8 military trucks near the Syrian-Iraqi border.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, about 20 Iranian militia members were killed and wounded in an initial toll of 9 American air strikes.
