Suwayda demonstrators renew their demand for Assad's departure
ARK News… In Week 19, hundreds today, Friday, 29/12/2023, demonstrated in the city of Suwayda, to demand the overthrow of the Syrian regime and the implementation of a political solution on the last Friday of 2023.
According to local media sources, during the 19th week of the uprising, the demonstrators raised banners with phrases written on them, for example: “Our ancestors are the makers of Syrian patriotism, and we will not neglect our history,” and another: “The Syrian people are one, and the Syrian blood is one.”
For more than 4 months, the people of Suwayda have been continuing their peaceful uprising, which broke out due to the deterioration of the living and security situation, to demand the overthrow of the Syrian regime, the exit of Iran from the country as an occupier, and the implementation of UN Resolution 2254.
