Media outlets loyal to the Syrian regime reported that the head of the Syrian regime, Bashar al-Assad, discussed with Alexander Lavrentiev, the special envoy of Russian President Vladimir Putin, bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the Syrian regime and Russia and mechanisms for its development in all fields that serve their interests.
He added that during the meeting, the latest developments on the regional and international arenas were discussed.
