For day 116... Suwayda demonstrators demand that the head of the Syrian regime step down
ARK News… For the 116th day in a row, large masses of people from the villages and towns of Suwayda gathered in Karama Square, demanding that the head of the Syrian regime step down, the implementation of International Resolution 2254, the achievement of a political transition, and the strengthening of the concept of decentralization in order to build a national body.
The demonstrators in Karama Square, on Monday, 11/12/2023, carried slogans affirming their demands, as they chanted: “Traitor, traitor, the Baath Party is a traitor,” “Freedom forever,” “Long live Syria,” “Down with Assad,” and “The Syrian raise his hand, we don’t want Bashaar."
The majority of segments and groups of society, from all orientations and cultural levels, participate in the demonstrations. A delegation of retired officers participated in the demonstrations on Friday, December 8, under the name of the “Veterans” delegation.
