ARK News… After the Pentagon's recent statement that its bases in Syria and Iraq have not been subjected to new attacks since the start of the truce in Gaza, sources reported that one of the bases was subjected to a missile attack.

CNN quoted an American official on Thursday as saying, “A missile attack of unknown origin targeted an American base in Syria,” adding that it did not result in casualties or damage.

The source did not mention the name of the targeted location, but merely indicated that the bombing targeted "the forces stationed in the Euphrates River."

US Department of Defense spokesman, General Pat Ryder, said in a press conference that “the last reported attack occurred on November 23, just hours before the truce and cessation of hostilities between Hamas and Israel for the exchange of prisoners.”

He stated that "the Pentagon's latest count of attacks on American forces in Syria and Iraq amounted to 74 attacks, which resulted in the injury of 60 American soldiers, including dozens of traumatic brain injuries."

On the 24th of this November, a humanitarian truce began - with Qatari-Egyptian-American mediation - between Israel and Hamas and lasted for 4 days, then it was extended for two additional days, and it was announced today, Thursday, that the truce was extended for a seventh day.
