Suwayda demonstrators: The will of the people is always triumphs
ARK News… Peaceful demonstrations demanding the overthrow of the Syrian regime and political change in Syria in accordance with relevant UN laws continue in Suwayda Governorate.
Dozens gathered in Al-Karama Square in central Suwayda, on Wednesday, November 26, 2023, carrying banners that read: “The will of the people always triumphs” and “We want a country in which security preserves the dignity of the people and safeguards their rights, not intimidates and humiliates them” and “Syria is the den of the people, not the den of the gang, the criminal Assad.”
Dozens gathered in the village of Aniz, far south of Suwayda, in a demonstration demanding freedom and political change in the country.
For about 3 and a half months, the demonstrators of Suwayda have continued their peaceful protests, which erupted due to the deterioration of the living and security situation in the city and then increased to demand the overthrow of the Syrian regime, the exit of Iranian militias from the country, and the implementation of UN Resolution 2254.
