ARK News… Demonstrations demanding the overthrow of the Syrian regime and political change in Syria continue in the Suwayda Governorate in southern Syria, entering their 100th day and expanding to include all their areas and all segments of society.
On Friday, November 24, 2023, Karama Square in the center of the city of Suwayda witnessed a central demonstration that included thousands of participants from all segments of society in the city, carrying slogans demanding the departure of the Syrian regime and the implementation of UN resolutions to achieve a political transition in the country.
The demonstrators carried banners that read: “The religion is for God and the homeland is for everyone,” “Bashar and you, we don’t want you,” and “The people want to overthrow the regime.”
The Suwayda demonstrations against the poor service situation began last August, then the level of demands increased to demanding the overthrow of the regime and the closure of the Baath Party headquarters in the city.
