The American Embassy: We continue to support the legitimate aspirations of the Syrian people
ARK News… The US Embassy in Syria affirmed its support for the legitimate aspirations of the Syrian people for peace, security, and stability.
This came during a brief statement from the US Embassy in Syria, on Monday, November 13, on the occasion of the 6th anniversary of the Atareb city massacre.
The embassy said: “After 6 years of bombing on the market of the city of Atareb in the western countryside of Aleppo, we honor the victims of the attacks and their families, and today and every day we affirm our support for the legitimate aspirations of the Syrian people for peace, security and stability,” without mentioning who caused that massacre.
Russian fighter jets launched dozens of raids on the city of Atarib on November 13, 2017, causing a massacre that left more than 160 civilians dead and wounded.
