Regime missiles target civilians and a school in eastern Idlib

ARK News… Today, Tuesday, civilians were injured as a result of missile and artillery shelling by regime forces targeting various areas of the “fourth de-escalation zone” (Idlib and its environs), northwestern Syria.

The Syrian Civil Defense Organization (White Helmets), today, Tuesday, said that a woman and a man were injured, as a result of a regime forces missile strike that targeted civilian homes, a gas station, a car dealership office, and the outskirts of the city of Sarmin in the eastern countryside of Idlib, confirming that its teams took the injured to the hospital. Pointing out that one of the shells targeted the “Hussein Haj Aboud” school while the students were leaving school, and one of the shells landed near the civil defense teams while they were working to inspect the areas affected by the bombing.

The White Helmets explained that the regime forces targeted with artillery shells the homes of civilians and the vicinity of the village of Majdalia in the southern countryside of Idlib, which led to a fire breaking out in an agricultural tractor on the outskirts of the village. The regime forces also targeted the village of Maarblit in the southern countryside of Idlib, without causing casualties among civilians.

On August 26, regime forces targeted with missiles two schools in the city of Jisr al-Shighour in the western countryside of Idlib, while students were arriving for summer school, in addition to targeting another school in the town of Al-Mawzara in the southwestern countryside of Idlib.
