A delegation from the Syrian opposition meets with the Turkish Foreign Minister to discuss developments in Syria

ARK News: A delegation from the Syrian opposition discussed with the Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, the political process and developments in the situation in Syria.

A delegation including the head of the Syrian National Coalition, Hadi Al-Bahra, the head of the Syrian Negotiating Commission, Badr Jamous, and the head of the Syrian Interim Government, Abdul Rahman Mustafa, paid a visit to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ankara, based on an official invitation.

In a statement, the National Coalition said, “The latest developments in the situation in Syria were discussed, the suffering of Syrians in Syria, the situation of refugees in Turkey and the rest of the world, the faltering political process in Geneva and ways to activate it, and the situation in northern Syria was also discussed.”

The statement stated that the coalition and the interim government focused on "the necessity of improving the economic conditions in northern Syria, and the importance of focusing on raising the capabilities of the interim government to provide basic services, and creating a safe environment to achieve the stability necessary to encourage investment and create job opportunities."
