High incidence of hepatitis C in rural Daraa
ARK News… Cases of hepatitis have increased in the town of Al-Shajara in the western countryside of Daraa, especially in schools, since the start of the current school season, amid failure by the Syrian regime government to provide medical care and awareness to contain the epidemic.
Syrian media sources said that the town of Al-Shajara in the western countryside of Daraa has recorded about 600 cases of hepatitis since the beginning of this month, with patients continuing to visit the town’s clinic and specialist doctors.
According to sources, the town is witnessing a state of panic after the increase in cases over the past few days, especially since most of the infections are children in the early stages of school.
