About 200 Syrians were victims of Daniel Hurricane in Libya

ARK News: The spokesman for the Syrian community in Libya, Raed Al-Bunni, on Thursday, September 14, said that they had registered about 200 Syrians missing or killed, as a result of” Daniel” Hurricane, which struck Libya. He explained that about 100 Syrians were killed as a result of the hurricane, about 100 people are missing.

He said that the toll is an estimate and was based on individual efforts and communications among members of the community. He indicated that the final toll may be greater and described the situation as “catastrophic.”

Al-Bunni denied that the community received any contact from the regime or provided any assistance, stressing that Libya does not include any bloc or organization concerned with the Syrians. The Libyan News Agency announced that the death toll from the floods that accompanied Hurricane “Daniel” in the city of Derna alone had risen to more than 2,000. One dead and thousands missing.
