Suwayda protests enter their third week
ARK News... The protests against the Syrian regime and calling for a political solution entered the third week in Suwayda, while members of the European Parliament expressed their support for them.
On Sunday, a popular demonstration took place in Karama Square in the center of the city of Suwayda, calling for the overthrow of the Syrian regime, the release of detainees in its prisons, and the implementation of Resolution 2254.
The demonstrators also affirmed their continuation of the peaceful movement until their demands are met.
The demonstrators also chanted slogans calling for the departure of the head of the Syrian regime, Bashar al-Assad, including “every drop of blood equals the family of al-Assad, Shalish and Makhlouf,” in reference to al-Assad's relatives who are in control of the country.
