President Barzani to the Peshmerga: You sacrificed blood and made great efforts to preserve the dignity of your people

ARK News... President Masoud Barzani, on Monday, met with the families of the martyrs, the Barzani Medal holders, the wounded in the battlefields, people with special needs, and political prisoners in the Badinan region, stressing commitment to national awareness and educating young people.

On Monday, August 21, 2023, Barzani's headquarters said in a statement, "President Barzani met in Duhok with the families of the martyrs, the wounded in the battlefields, fighters, holders of Barzani medals, people with special needs, and political prisoners, to listen to their demands, complaints, and observations closely."

President Barzani delivered a speech in which he highlighted the political situation in Kurdistan and the relations between the Kurdistan government and the federal government.

Barzani touched on the obstacles, threats and challenges faced by the Kurds, and stressed the importance of adhering to national awareness, educating young people, and returning to national national principles.

President Barzani expressed his appreciation for the sacrifices and efforts of the families of the martyrs and the Peshmerga fighters, saying, "You have sacrificed blood and sacrificed and made great efforts in order to preserve the dignity of your people, and everything that can be offered to you is little for you, and I am here today to listen to your complaints, demands and observations, and I ask you to tell me Whatever is in your hearts."

The statement added that a frank and intense discussion took place between the attendees and President Barzani, as they submitted their questions, observations, demands and complaints to President Barzani directly.
