President Barzani arrives in Zakho to listen to the demands of all segments of the city

ARK News… President Masoud Barzani, Today, Sunday, August 20, 2023, arrived in the Autonomous Administration of Zakho, to meet with the various segments of its society and listen to their demands.

As part of his visit to the Badinan region, President Barzani arrived shortly before the headquarters of the eighth branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Zakho, where he is scheduled to meet with hundreds of residents of the administration.

The director of the eighth branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Zakho, Hakim Biro, told Kurdistan 24: "Today is an important and historic day for us as the people of Zakho because of the arrival of President Barzani to our city. Zakho and President Barzani will not be separated from each other, and President Barzani has repeatedly said, "Zakho He is my heart and my soul,” which he did not say to any other region, and this saying is of great importance to the residents of Zakho.

He added, "President Barzani will meet with the various segments of Zakho society, and will listen to their demands and complaints.

On Friday, President Masoud Barzani met with various segments of society in the Akre district of Duhok Governorate, and listened to their demands and proposals.

The meeting was attended by the families of martyrs and battle-wounded Peshmerga fighters, border guards, teachers, religious figures, merchants and farmers, in addition to the younger generation.

President Barzani also met with cadres of the Kurdistan Democratic Party organizations in the district of "Akre" and the district of "Bardarash" in Duhok Governorate, and listened to their demands and proposals.

During the meeting, President Barzani stressed the need to provide more services in various sectors to the citizens of the Badinan region.
