Pedersen explained in a tweet on Twitter: I held in-depth deliberations with the Truth and Justice Charter group, and discussed the latest developments related to arbitrary arrests and missing persons in Syria, and their continuous involvement towards the establishment of the Independent Institution for the Missing.
"I will continue to press for the widespread release of arbitrarily detained individuals, transparent information for families, and access for international humanitarian actors to all places of detention," the UN envoy said.
