ARK News... The "Media Department of the Syrian National Coalition" said that the head of the coalition, Salem Al-Muslet, sent a set of letters to the foreign ministers of Arab countries, the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Gulf Cooperation Council, in which he expressed "the Syrian people's rejection of the recent steps taken towards Assad regime in Syria.

In it, Al-Muslet reaffirmed that "the reasons for boycotting the Assad regime still exist and should not be ignored or forgotten," adding that these steps are unlikely to lead to a political solution in Syria. On the contrary, "this criminal regime will take advantage of that to commit more atrocities massacres against the Syrian people.

Al-Muslet pointed out that "the Assad regime has a long history of committing atrocities against its people and supporting various terrorist militias, which led to the killing of thousands and the displacement of millions of Syrians, in addition to its responsibility for destabilizing the security and stability of the region, as it turned Syria into a center for cross-border terrorism led by Iran." And to a global center for the production and export of Captagon drugs.

Al-Muslet stressed that the regime's destructive actions in Syria, the region, and the world constitute a serious threat to regional and international peace and security, and harm countless people, adding that achieving lasting peace in the region requires "putting an end to Tehran's terrorist activities against the peoples of the region, instead of enabling it to by legitimizing one of its followers."

Al-Muslet stressed that the Syrian people have made clear their position rejecting any attempts at normalization with the regime, their commitment to the principles of the Syrian revolution, and their continued work for a free and democratic Syria through peaceful means, calling for respect for their aspirations and support for their efforts towards a better future.

He also called for working towards achieving a political transition in Syria and for the implementation of all international resolutions related to Syrian affairs, especially the Geneva Convention and resolutions 2118 and 2254, and to maintain the isolation of the Assad regime and hold it accountable for its heinous actions.
