
The collapse of the Syrian pound against regional and international currencies
ARK News… The exchange rate of the "Aleppo dollar" recorded a quantum leap, during Tuesday's trading, to the top once again of the exchange rates of the dollar in Syrian cities. The dollar caught up with it in both Homs and Hama. The dollar also moved up all over Syria, towards new unprecedented thresholds.
Until the closing of trading on Tuesday, the "Aleppo dollar" rose 200 liras, to become between 8,850 pounds liras for purchase and 8,950 liras for sale.
The dollar was recorded in Homs and Hama, at the same prices.
In Damascus, the dollar rose 125 Liras, to become between 8,750 pounds for purchase and 8,850 liras for sale.
The dollar recorded in Daraa, As-Suwaidaa, Lattakia, and Tartous, has the same prices as the "Damascus dollar".
In Idlib, the dollar rose, 150 liras, to become between 8,800 liras for purchase and 8,900 liras for sale.
The dollar recorded in al-Bab, Afrin, and Izaz, as well as in Manbij and Raqqa, and in al-Hasakah, Qamishli, and Deir Ez-Zour, the same prices as the "Idlib dollar".
Returning to Damascus, the euro rose 75 liras, to become between 9,592 liras for purchase and 9,692 liras for sale.
The Turkish rose in Damascus, 7 Syrian liras, to become between 444 Syrian liras for purchase, and 454 Syrian liras for sale.
While the Turkish one in Idlib increased by 8 Syrian liras, to become between 446 Syrian liras for purchase and 456 Syrian liras for sale.
The exchange rate of the Turkish dollar against the dollar in Idlib ranged between 18.52 Turkish liras for purchase and 19.52 Turkish liras for sale.
While the official price of selling “remittance dollars” remained at 7,500 liras.
