Afrin… A new chapter of violations in the Afrin region
ARK News... The military police in the village of Kila of Rajo district in Afrin, Syrian Kurdistan, kidnapped a number of civilians in the village on charges of serving in the PYD administration.
Kurdish activists said on Thursday, January 12, 2023, on social media that the military police raided the village in a horrific manner and arrested a number of civilians there, and the charge is dealing with the former PYD administration, noting that most of them settled their situation by paying the ransom.
In addition to the arrests, media sources from Afrin confirmed on January 10 that an explosion had occurred in an al-Qabban roundabout in the al-Ashrafiyeh neighborhood, without information on human casualties.
The sources indicated that an explosive device was planted near the roundabout, while no party has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
ARK's follow-up shows that the first explosion in the new year is in 2023.
Except for the explosion and arrests, the operations of imposing royalties on the Kurds, and the unjust cuts continue.
