The Syrian Network calls on QSD to release a leader and member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria

ARK News... The Syrian Network for Human Rights called on the Syrian Democratic Forces to release a leader and member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, who were kidnapped in late December 2022.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights, which documents violations in Syria, published two separate statements about the kidnapping of Hussein Suleiman, a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, who was kidnapped on the 28th of December 2022, and Blind Ismail, a member of the Area Council of the party, who was kidnapped on the 27th of the same month, in the city of Derik in Syrian Kurdistan.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights expressed its fear that "they will be subjected to torture, and that they will be forcibly disappeared, like 85% of all detainees."

The network called on the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), to "compensate the victims and their families financially and morally, and to stop all arbitrary detentions that aim to spread terror among the members of society and blackmail the people, and it also called for revealing the fate of thousands of the forcibly disappeared by the Syrian Democratic Forces."

In a statement issued on December 29, 2022, the Kurdish National Council condemned in the strongest terms the intimidating practices that affect members of the Council and activists for the purpose of silencing mouths and suppressing any political activity, and held PYD responsible for any harm affecting them, and demanded their release, and desisting from these actions that lead to more Immigration targets any effort to unite the Kurdish position, and increases the state of anxiety and congestion among the general population of the region who suffer from difficult security and living conditions.

The Kurdish National Council in Syria also appealed the human rights and humanitarian organizations, public opinion, and countries concerned with Syrian affairs to intervene to put an end to these violations.
