The localities of Tel Tamr and Zarkan appreciate the historic decision of President Barzani to send the Peshmerga to Kobani

ARK News... The localities of Tel Tamr and Zarkan of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, on Friday, October 28, 2022, held a regular meeting in the city of Tel Tamr.

The latest political developments in the international, regional, and internal arenas were discussed, especially the National Council's adherence to a political solution to the Syrian crisis in accordance with International Resolution 2254, in addition to talking about the visit of the US High Representative of the State, Nicholas Granger, to the headquarters of the National Council and the meeting with the Presidency.

The meeting touched on the attack of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (Jabhat al-Nusra) on Afrin and its repercussions of looting, displacement, and killing of civilians, the attack by the fascist "Revolutionary Youth" on United Nations headquarters and the home of Fasla Youssef, member of the presidency of the Kurdish National Council and politician Mahmoud Auja, and talk about the third anniversary of the invasion of Turkish forces of the cities of Serê Kaniyê and Girê Spî.

The attendees thanked President Masoud Barzani for his historic decision to send the Peshmerga forces to the city of Kobani and liberate it from the terrorist organization ISIS, congratulating the decision of the leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party to hold the fourteenth conference on the third of next November in the city of Duhok.
