Yezidis Rescue Office: 6 people kidnapped by ISIS terrorists liberated from Shingal
The Yazidi Rescue Office, on Tuesday, October 26, 2022, announced the liberation of 6 abductees from Shingal (Sinjar), who had been kidnapped by ISIS terrorists since 2014.
The office, which was established in 2014 to rescue the Yezidi abductees and is linked to the office of the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, said that "six other abductees who were kidnapped in 2014 were rescued from Shingal by the terrorist organization ISIS."
The liberators are:
1- Sawsan Hassan Haider, was born in 1998 in Shingal.
2- Rosa Amin Barakat, born in 2002, from Hardan.
3- Wafaa Ali Abbas, born in 2001 in Kojo.
4- Mazen Jardo Khalaf, born 2007, from Wardia.
5- Rosita Haji Bijo, born in 2006 from Tell Qasab.
6- Jani Ziyad Haider, born in 2007 from Solakh.
The terrorists of ISIS invaded the Nineveh Plain and the Shingal district in August 2014 and committed atrocities against the Yezidi Kurds, which included all kinds of crimes including killing, displacement, and kidnapping, classified by the United Nations as crimes against humanity, and many of them are still unaccounted for until the moment despite the defeat of ISIS.
