ARK News… The White House said that Saudi Arabia's announcement of $400 million in financial aid to Ukraine "does not cancel the OPEC + decision to reduce oil production."

White House spokeswoman Karen Jean-Pierre said at a press conference, "The decision that OPEC Plus took last week, we believe stands on the side of the Russians, and was against the interests of the American people and families around the world," adding: "We believe this decision will harm low-income economies, and he was misguided, wrong, and shortsighted.”

She stressed that US President Joe Biden "will re-evaluate Washington's relations with Saudi Arabia, this is something he has talked about since the beginning of this administration, and he wants to do it with bipartisan assistance, a method that has been done over the past eight decades when we talk about our relationship with Saudi Arabia, and he will do so." In a systematic and strategic way,” she stressed, stressing that Saudi Arabia’s announcement of providing aid to Ukraine “does not cancel the OPEC Plus decision to reduce oil production.”

In response to a question about plans for any US administration officials to go to the "Future Investment Initiative" conference to be held in Riyadh later this month, Pierre said: "I have nothing to announce at the moment."
