Nechirvan Barzani congratulates the Islamic New Year: Kurdistan Region will remain the country of all and the home of coexistence and tolerance

The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, on Saturday, congratulated Muslims in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the world, on the occasion of the new Hijri year, hoping that the new year will bring security and peace to the region, Iraq and all humanity. Here is the text of the message:
I warmly congratulate the first of Muharram, the Islamic New Year, to all Muslims in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the world, calling Almighty God that the New Year would bring with its goodness, happiness, stability, and peace to the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and all humanity.
On this blessed occasion, we stress the deepening of the culture of acceptance of others and harmony, and we assure all ethnic and religious components that the Kurdistan Region will always remain the country of all and the home of coexistence and tolerance.
