Joint exercises and military readiness for Manbij city
The Turkish army deployed on its account in the social networking sites, pictures of the joint US-Turkish exercises, with the aim of conducting joint patrols in the future in Manbij city in rural of Aleppo, and confirmed that the exercises are intended to conduct joint patrols planned in the future in Manbij city.
In a related context, the head of the military council of the factions belonging to Euphrates Shield, Adnan Abu Faisal, said to Turkish newspaper Yeni Shafaq, that the Turkish forces with the factions of the “Direi el-Furat”, entered the alert on 7 points near Manbij, adding that more than 20 thousand fighters are ready to confront the militants Popular protection units (YPG) in Manbij.

The "road map" agreement includes the taking out of (YPG) militants who are belonging the Democratic Union Party (PYD) from Manbij and entering of joint patrols to Manbij, then the city manager will be by a Local Civil Council under US-Turkish supervision.
Manbij was liberated on August 13, 2016, with the support of the International Coalition, and more than a thousand young Kurds were martyred in the liberation process which recruited by PYD, then the YPG militants belonging to PYD announced that they had entered the battle of Manbij by regional and international agreement to leave the region after liberation, and this was confirmed by the military council in Manbij in its statement after the US-Turkish agreement on Manbij.
