Khalid Ali, Media Director of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria in the Kurdistan Region, said: The policy pursued by the PYD administration since it took power in Syrian Kurdistan is one of silencing mouths and concealing facts. He added: Therefore, it continues to kidnap media professionals, the latest of which is the kidnapping of our correspondents in Syrian Kurdistan.
On the report of the International Commission of Inquiry on Human Rights Violations, Ali stressed during his participation in the ARK Newsletter that the report is not at the required level, and what was mentioned in the report is the tip of the iceberg of what is happening on the ground.
He also said: There are daily violations against politicians, media professionals, activists, and civilians, and the report documented only a few individual cases, whether in the file of kidnapping children and minors, political assassination, stifling mouths, and tightening the screws on media professionals.
And on false accusations, the PYD militia continues to arrest the correspondents of ARK and Rebaz, Sabri Fakhri, who was kidnapped on February 5, and Ahmed Sofi and Dara Abdo, who were kidnapped on February 19 by these militias in Kurdistan Syria, in addition to many politicians, activists, and independents.
