Osman Ocalan, born in 1958 from the village of Amara in Kurdistan Turkey, is the brother of Abdullah Ocalan, the leader of the PKK, who had defected from the party since 2004, and resides in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, and is scheduled to be buried in the Kurdistan Region.
