Kurdistan commemorates the annual martyrdom of six Roj Peshmerga fighters

ARK News: On this day in 2015-2016, 6 soldiers from the Roj Peshmerga Martyrs were martyred in the battles against ISIS while performing their duty in different areas of the Kurdistan Region.

On Friday, November 12, 2020, was the fifth anniversary of the martyrdom of Ahmad Bozan Qijo and Sherzad Muhammad Mahsoum, in the Shingal axis of Kolat village during the battle against ISIS terrorist organization, after the Peshmerga forward with their comrades epic heroic defense for the territory of Kurdistan and its people. The martyrs Ahmed Bozan Qijo and Sherzad Muhammad Ma’sum, from the ranks of the First Brigade of Roj Peshmerga.

Atouf Taher, Kamiran Salahuddin Hisso, Mawuloud Riyadh Ahmad, and Sipan Youssef Saadoun Sino of the Roj Peshmerga forces were martyred due to a traffic accident on the road of the Mosul Dam, while they were returning from their military duties.
