ARK News: Air forces of the Assad regime and Russia committed new war crimes in the towns and villages of Idlib and Hama, killing five people and injuring dozens of civilians.
Local activists said that three people, including a woman, were killed Saturday morning in Russian airstrikes on the village of Abdin in rural Idlib. Similar attacks destroyed a civil defense center in the town of Khan Sheikhoun.
Intense airstrikes also pounded the villages of Kafrin, Talas, Abdin, and Habeet in southern rural Idlib on Friday, killing a civilian and injuring many others.
More airstrikes also hit the towns of Latamina, Kafarzeita, Zakat, Husraiya, Abu Raida and Sayyad in northern rural Hama. The towns of Qalat al-Madiq and Ziyara in northwestern rural Hama came under artillery shelling which killed a child and injured others.
The intensified bombing campaign has caused an exodus of civilians from the town of Jazraiya in southern rural Aleppo over the past two days.
Idlib has been bracing for a major assault by the Assad regime and its allies as dozens of Western and regional countries warned of devastating consequences for civilians in the province.
The Syrian Coalition earlier called on the international community to seriously deal with the situation in Idlib and prevent new crimes against civilians by enforcing complete compliance with the de-escalation zone agreement.
The Coalition urged the main international actors to deal seriously with the latest developments, especially with regards to the protection of civilians and ensuring their safety.
