The PKK informs a message to the PYD and QSD regarding Syrian Kurdistan
ARK News… On Saturday, an informed Syrian Kurdish source revealed that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) renewed its refusal to leave Syrian Kurdistan (northern Syria) and the Kurdistan Region after the US demands to disengage from the PYD and PKK and the latter’s exit from the region.
The source, who preferred not to be named, told (BasNews): “James Jeffrey, the US special envoy to Syria, during his recent meetings with the Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) in Hasaka, demanded that the latter disengage from the PKK to remove the argument from Turkey and avoid any other invasion of the north of the country”.
He added, “But the Kurdish workers’ response came quickly, according to Sabri Ok, a member of the PKK’s political bureau, who is in charge of Syrian Kurdistan appointed by the party, saying: “We will not go out from Syrian Kurdistan, nor from the Kurdistan Region as well, because we liberated these areas with our blood. We protect this area, and we will not abandon it. ”
The source pointed out, "Sabri Ok has officially informed the leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Democratic Union Party that they will not leave the region."
The source explained, "Kurdistan workers will not leave Syrian Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Region easily, and if Washington pressures it, it will create excuses for Turkey to attack Syrian Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Region in order to shuffle the cards."
The source said, "The PKK will not leave the region without fulfilling a number of its conditions, the first of which is to lift its terrorist status."
And Aldar Khalil, a member of the governing body of the Democratic Union Party, said yesterday in statements followed by (BasNews), that "Jeffrey's visit carries a message to the Russians, the Turks, the regime, or even it is a message for us."
Khalil emphasized, “Jeffrey did not say that they would not allow the Turks to attack the region, but rather what America was saying, as you know when Turkey attacked Sari Kaniye and Gire Spi, an agreement was reached on a ceasefire, and America always says it agreed with Turkey on a cease-fire and it is not permissible for this agreement to be violated, so we cannot base our hopes on these permits. Yes, these permits can be evaluated, but all hopes cannot be assigned to them.
