ARK News… The young activist Dirgham Farmano, on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, received a phone call from German Chancellor Angela Merkel, in which he spoke about the injustice inflicted on the Kurdish people in Afrin, Sari Kaniye, Gire Spi, and other areas in Syrian Kurdistan.

The young man said in a statement on his personal page read by ARK: on Tuesday I received a message and a phone call from German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

He added: During the phone call, I spoke about the injustice that was inflicted on us and that is still inflicting upon us, in Afrin, Sari Kaniye, Gire Spi, and the regions of Syrian Kurdistan.

For her part, Chancellor Angela Merkel said: She is against this oppression that has occurred and is happening to our great people. Stressing that she is with the Kurds and that the Kurds have the right, like the people of the earth, to live in peace, according to the same statement.

The young Dirgham Farmano from the city of Qamishlo in Syrian Kurdistan and for years he has been holding individual sit-ins in front of the German government headquarters and has raised banners with pictures of victims and martyrs to convey the suffering of the Kurdish people in Afrin, Sari Kaniye, Gire Spi and other areas in Syrian Kurdistan. His last activity was his sit-in because of the Kurdish child Youssef Othman, who was martyred in the city center of Afrin by a gunman from the 9th Division of the armed factions.
