Afrin… Security chaos and the commission of organized crime are characteristic of the atmosphere prevailing in the Afrin region
ARK News: A Human Rights Organization working to document violations in the Kurdish region of Afrin reported on its main page of Facebook, on Saturday, 20.09.2020, that the security chaos and the commission of an organized crime are still characteristic of the atmosphere prevailing in Afrin region, despite the security campaign that the Turkish government claimed to carry out to fight corruption and terrorism, but it was found that it is against the indigenous Kurds in the region with the aim of spreading terror and fear among them and intimidating them to think of leaving, and unleashing the hand of the armed militia elements loyal to it and affiliated with the Syrian Interim Government and the Syrian National Coalition to commit more crimes in front of their military forces without deterring them or holding them accountable in accordance with international laws binding on the occupation of the lands of another sovereign state.
The Human Rights Organization in Afrin said that the military police, accompanied by armed militia members, on Saturday, 09/19/2020, kidnapped a Kurdish citizen Aufa Seydo, 55, from the village of Kura of the Jenderes township - residing in the Mahmuodiya neighborhood in Afrin, while visiting her daughter in the village, without mentioning the reasons, and they took her to an unknown destination and without knowing her fate so far.
The Organization added that a strong explosion was heard on Saturday, 19/09/2020 near Jabal - Parsaya, near the villages of Qastal Jindo - Dikmadashe, without knowing the causes yet.
The Organization also added that, on Thursday 17/09/2020, the Military Police in Afrin city center kidnapped the citizen Hussein Rashid Sheikho from the village of Quota of the Bulbul township, who works as a pump driver in Afrin, without mentioning the reasons, and took him to an unknown destination without knowing his fate until right now.
The Organization concluded that within the framework of the physical liquidations between the armed militia members loyal to the Turkish government regarding the theft of Kurdish property and the seizure of their agricultural lands to harvest crops, unknown armed elements planted an explosive device under a military vehicle parked in front of the mosque of the town of Bulbul, believed to belong to the elite faction controlling the A number of villages belonging to the township on Friday 09/18/2020 during the entrance of the worshipers, and they were detonated after the return of its members, which led to the death of one member and the injury of the others with varying and serious injuries to another member. They were transferred to the health center to receive treatment in the light of complete secrecy among the leaders of armed militias.
The series of violations continue in the Afrin region, which was controlled by Turkey and the armed factions, March 18, 2018, and organized chaos has spread in light of the poor security conditions and a large number of killings, kidnappings, and arrests, not to mention the looting and resettling Arab settlers coming from Syrian provinces for demographic change.
