The Christian component receives five positions in Duhok

ARK News… The representative of Christians in the Kurdistan Parliament said that the administration of Duhok governorate will grant five job bags to the Christian component and that one of these bags, which is the deputy governor for administrative affairs, has been received and the rest during the coming period.

In a statement singled out by the official website of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Robina Tiyari, representative of the Christian component in the Kurdistan Parliament, said, "The Kurdistan Regional Government decided to grant the Christian component five job portfolios within the administration of Duhok governorate, and today we received the portfolio of the Deputy Governor for Administrative Affairs and it was voted on in the Duhok Provincial Council and it was approved. "

"We will receive the remaining four portfolios, which are the mayor, two directors of the district, and a general manager, and thus the Christian component has five job portfolios in Duhok governorate," Tiyari added.

The Christian component also has a ministerial portfolio in the new cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government, which is the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
