ARK News… The Tirbaspiye locality of the Kurdish National Council held its regular meeting on Friday 28 August 2020, which began with a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs of the Kurds and Kurdistan.

The attendees also touched on the organizational conditions of the locality and the means that would improve the work of the locality at all levels.

Then the head of the locality talked about the current political situation in the Kurdish region, represented by the Kurdish dialogues, which have entered their second stage, indicating that the meetings are still continuing and the final formula has not been reached.

In addition to talking about the Peace and Freedom Front, which was announced on July 29 in the city of Qamishlo, and includes the "Kurdish National Council, the Syrian Tomorrow Movement, the Assyrian Democratic Organization, and the Arab Council in the Jazira and the Euphrates."

The Peace and Freedom Front defined itself as a political alliance that includes parties that intersected in its political vision and objectives, as a result of in-depth intra-dialogue, in addition to the mutual trust relations that have deepened through a long path of cooperation and common interests, and affirmed that their work and the work of the parties within its framework do not conflict with the membership of the aforementioned parties in the opposition bodies and platforms that operate within the framework of the Syrian Negotiation Commission and other frameworks.

He pointed to the American support for such alliances in light of the current conditions, which would support the Kurdish dialogues by clarifying their goals for peaceful coexistence between all components, far from what the Syrian opposition was promoting in the beginning.
