Clarification about the date of the start of school hours in the Kurdistan Region
ARK News… The Minister of Education in the Kurdistan Region, Alan Muhammad Saeed, said that the Ministry of Education is awaiting the Ministry of Health's evaluation of the situation in order to determine the date of the start of the school hours for this year.
On Thursday, Muhammad Saeed told Kurdistan 24, "We prefer to start the school year on the specified date, and it is our first choice, but we must wait for the Ministry of Health's comprehensive evaluation of health conditions."
"It is possible that the Ministry of Health may demand a delay in opening schools for several weeks. Certainly, our most important priority is to preserve the lives of teachers and students," he said.
The Minister of Education confirmed that no decision has been issued yet regarding delaying the date of opening schools in Kurdistan, indicating that the issue is still under discussion.
