ARK News… A private source confirmed that the water tank that supplies Hasakah with water has a capacity of 30,000 cubic meters, and for the reservoir to be filled with water from Al-Hama wells, it needs 72 continuous hours.

A private source told ARK News that the water tank that supplies the city of Hasaka and its environs with water is located in northwest Hasakah, 15 kilometers away from the city center, and has a capacity of 30,000 cubic meters, and at the present time needs a full 72 hours to fill and after that it supplies Hasaka with water.

The source added: The water tank of Hasaka city and its environs needed only 6 hours to be filled with water, when it was being filled with 7 main pumps from Alouk station in the city of Sari Kaniye. Less than 500 cubic meters of water per hour, which means it takes 72 hours to fill.

After a 27-day interruption of water from the city of Hasaka, the water was pumped on Tuesday night for 4 hours only on the Al-Aziziyah, Al-Salihiya and Al-Mufti neighborhoods in Hasaka, and since that time the water has been cut off again.
