Erbil... A young Yazidi survivor from ISIS returns to her family
ARK News… The President of the Kurdistan Women’s Union, on Sunday, revealed that a young Yazidi survivor from ISIS was today returned to her family.
Dr. Viyan Suleiman said in a press conference that a young Yazidi woman named (Hala) escaped from the ISIS terrorists after being held captive by the organization for six years.
Suleiman pointed out that "the young Yazidi woman came to us while she did not remember her name or her family name because of the intensity of what she had experienced during the period of captivity." She added, "She was our guest solution, and gradually she regained her memory and remembered her name and the names of her parents."
The president of the Kurdistan Women’s Union appealed to all parties to provide more support to free the remaining Yazidi kidnapped by ISIS.
Dr. Viyan Suleiman also mentioned that today the young Yazidi woman was returned to her family.
