ARK News… A source revealed that the members of a number of Arab tribes in Syrian Kurdistan and those supporting the Syrian regime, after a period they spent in Libya, returned two days ago to Qamishlo for vacation.

A private source confirmed to ARK News: Three months ago, under Russian supervision and mediation by the Syrian regime, Faisal Al-Azel from the Al Maamira clan gathered the recruits from the Arab clans in Tartap, Regiment 154 and sent them under the leadership of his nephew Talal Al-Azel from Qamishlo airport to Hamaimim airport and then to Libya to fight in return 1000 USD per month.

The source said that a batch of recruits returned on vacation 14 days ago, and their members were quarantined at Hamaimim Airport in Lattakia, and on Sunday (9.8.2020) they arrived at Qamishlo airport to complete their vacation.

The source mentioned that the recruits belonged to clans from the villages of Farfara, Abu Dweil, Nibbana, Tartap, Qurmiz, and Haret Tay. These clans stipulated that the regime exempt their sons from its compulsory conscription in exchange for fighting in Libya.

Russia wanted to recruit the Kurds and send them to Libya to fight in return for money. The Kurds refused Russia's request, so they went to the Arab tribes of the Syrian regime, with the mediation of the Syrian regime's intelligence and military security, and they recruited groups of them, led by Faysal Al-Azel from the Al Maamira clan.
