BCF expresses its willingness to help the Kurdish community in Lebanon

ARK News… A delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria met with a delegation from the Barzani Charity Foundation BCF on Tuesday 11 August 2020 in Lebanon, and the Lebanon Organization of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria published a statement about the meeting. The following is the text of the statement:

A meeting between a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria (PDK-S) in Lebanon with a delegation from the Barzani Charity Foundation, visiting Lebanon to learn about the scale of the disaster and the needs in order to provide assistance to those affected by the Beirut Port explosion on 4/8/2020.

And based on the humanitarian initiative launched by the President of the Kurdistan Region, a Brother Nechirvan Barzani, for standing by the brotherly Lebanese people and providing assistance.

The meeting was attended by the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, members of the Area Committee: Idris Giro, the administrative office as the head of the delegation, and Abdul-Karim Dilo, Mustafa Hibbo and Sheikho Tamr, members of the delegation. The visiting delegation was also represented by Rebwar Muhieddin Sadiq, managing director of the Foundation and head of the delegation in Lebanon.

At the outset, Comrade Giro welcomed the visiting delegation in Lebanon and appreciated their role and the role of the Barzanis and their standing by the oppressed and poor peoples.

Then Giro touched on the living situation of Lebanon in general and the Kurdish community in particular and what it has been suffering on a daily basis for months after the outbreak of the Corona pandemic and an increase in the exchange of the dollar against the Lebanese pound, which reached the threshold of 11 thousand against one dollar, and in this context, we launched appeals and media reports through media channels visible and written, we appealed to the Kurdistan Regional Government, its president, and your Foundation to support our community in Lebanon, and today it gave us the opportunity to meet with you and us to see the reality.

Then Giro gave way to the members of the delegation with their participation by explaining the suffering to enrich the meeting, in order to be one hand to save our people from Erbil to all parts of the world.

And after listening to our delegation by the foundation's delegation and also welcomed on its part on its behalf and on behalf of the Barzani Charity Foundation to lead our organization and expressed their willingness to stand by our community and all the oppressed and poor peoples in the coming days within the available capabilities and be the strategy of our future relationship to serve the children of our Kurdish people.

Then the two parties discussed the situation our Kurdish people are going through, especially the region and the world, and the views were converging, and in this context, the two parties agreed on the necessity of communication and meetings in order to control the problem and solve it within the available possibilities and circumstances.

Speedy recovery of the wounded.
Long live the Kurds and Kurdistan.
