Kurdistan Interior Minister comments on the conflict between PKK and Turkey
ARK News.. The Kurdistan Regional Minister of the Interior, Rebar Ahmed, has said that he hopes that the PKK and Turkey will transfer their struggle out of the territory.
Ahmed told Kurdistan 24 that the conflict between Turkey and the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) creates border problems for the Kurdistan Region.
He continued saying: We hope from Turkey and the Labor Party that they will understand the situation in the Kurdistan Region and take their struggles out of our borders."
Turkey recently launched its latest battles against the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), which takes its mountains, the Kurdistan Region, and its border villages, as military bases.
The Turkish bombardment has claimed the lives of a number of civilians in the sprawling area, which has been the scene of violence between the two parties to the conflict for decades.
