The execution of the massacre:

ISIS terrorists began in the early hours of June 25, 2015, with infiltration, as they numbered about 100 terrorists, who came from the town of Sirrin, south of Kobani, and managed to enter despite the presence of multiple security barriers affiliated with the PYD administration.

The operation first began, with the massacre of Barkh Batan village, south of Kobani, as terrorists attacked it, treacherously killed 23 civilians, and subsequently killed them, including children, women and elderly people who were sleeping.
After the Barkh Batan village massacre, the terrorists went to the city of Kobani, and they managed to cross the Asayish PYD barriers and enter the depth of the city and committed a massacre there as well.

The attacks came at a time when displaced persons from Kobani were returning to their affected city.

The request to open an investigation on the massacre and hold the perpetrators accountable:

Although five years have passed since the ISIS terrorists committed the massacre, the PYD administration has not opened any investigation regarding how ISIS terrorists were able to enter the area, as the people of the Kobani region demand a fair and transparent investigation, to bring the perpetrators and accomplices to international courts to obtain their punishment, in accordance with international laws compensating the families of the martyrs and the wounded.
